My December 2023 Haul | Blu-rays, Pops, and More!
Monkey Man is a fun one and looking the posters!
I seen monkey man on streaming and it was fantastic. It blew me away with the fighting scenes.
Any plans... Sardar udham.... Movie????
@@deogiriyadav8399 it’s still on my watchlist. As I mentioned in the video, I really haven’t been watching many movies recently. I don’t really make plans for watching stuff, when I have time I pick something I’m in the mood for.
Hiii.... Hw r u...??? I have been recommending u. . ... Sardar udham. .. For more than 2 months... But i think u r really busy... N i m losing my patience..... So.. When can we expect that....
I had a good time with this one. Not near the adrenaline rush of Fury Road but Alyla Browne and Anya Taylor Joy did great as Furiosa but Chris Hemsworth was the show stealer for me! I did feel some pacing issues but overall it was an enjoyable return to the wasteland. Great review!
Thank you, and yes I forgot to give a shoutout to Alyla too, she was excellent!
and RIP Quentin Kenihan
Hugh Keays-Byrne who played Toecutter in Mad Max1 and Imortan Joe Fury Rd. Died in 2020 :( Lachy Hulme played Joe here
I have my tv shows separate, and my foreign films separated. About 7500 titles 🤪
Absolutely loved this film! Gonna try and see it a third time in the next week!
It felt more like the first MAD MAX films, especially THUNDERDOME.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Solid video dude!
Thank you! I had fun putting it together and sharing my thoughts 😁
Thanks for your take! I need to check this one out still.
Definitely do it in theaters if you can!
Its funny that you asked if it’s a “worthy follow up” considering its a prequel hahah😂
Yeah it’s an odd situation lol
Question, Mr austin, Fullmetal alchemist or code geass?
I’ve only seen FMA of the two currently
I loved every second of it, both times at the theater and you really need to see it in a theater. Wish the ones I was in was full. My hubby and I saw the first Star Wars and I was on the first row and he was behind me. I have seen it at home, as well and we all liked it, including my 8-year-old grandson.
What is your favorite regular movie
Definitely Lord Of the Rings
Happy Birthday 🎂
Looks like a fun one. I still need to check it out!
It’s a ton of fun, definitely try to catch it while it’s in theaters if you can! I’m excited to eventually get the Blu-ray too, I’m sure they’ll have it packed with bonus features
I might have the TV a little lower personally, but this looks like a nice comfortable space! I loved your rebuttal to the individual who commented about how you should move out of your parent's basement! I have to wonder what they own (if anything) haha. I also have a lower-tier Samsung TV from a few years back (model NU7100), I appreciate the 75" screen size, but next time I will probably switch back to LG or maybe even Hisense (with an extended warranty). Anyway, thanks for this tour. It was fun to see.
Happy Birthday 🎉. Awesome pick up’s. Definitely going to have to give Andor a try again. I checked out episode but I want to give another try. Sadly, I haven’t seen a single Pink Panther movie but you’ve convinced me to give them a try.
Thank you! Yeah I think you should at least check out the first arc for Andor. There’s 3-4 arcs throughout the season and each one gets better! And yes the Pink Panther movies are absolute classics
😂😂 for those who do not know and are ignorant to know the facts India has been producing movies and making them even before they were common in Greek mythology officially Satyajit Ray was not the first person to make movies it was another Bengali in India people should read more American Hollywood industry was built very recently you can call it and all the big talents they used to cover through all the globe and used to copy ideas from Indian movies and songs
Elemental was my fave film of last year. I need to check out the Universal Monsters films myself. Awesome pickups & gifts!
Hey where did they find that pink panther collection?
It’s from Amazon! I think they have it for about $35
Some great pick ups for the month. I'd also prefer that 4k's still come with a Blu-ray. Charging the same amount for just a 4k is just not worth it.
Exactly, too much greed lol
Cool movie room. How many inches the TV?
It’s a 70” TV
@@AustinStPierre Nice
Get a lg or Sony oled you’ll never go back
Those are definitely the brands I’m considering! Any specific models you recommend?
@@AustinStPierre if you can find a lg g3 or c3 on sale that would be the best bang for the buck! But if you want to go top notch g4 or Sony a95 would be the top notch . Very pricey tho. I was able to pick up a clearance 77” lg c3 for 1500 with a 5 year warranty .
Kinda babble. Neil as a christ figure is more interesting analysis. Also Sator calling himself god is ignored
Happy Memorial day
I just have to say what a awesome video series you are doing here on You Tube . I also agree with you that Ragamuffin is a great movie I saw it on streaming last year I have always wanted to see the movie because I was a fan of Rich Mullins music ever snice my dad introduce me to his music around the 2006 or 2007. I always remember me and my Dad listening to old Christian music on cassette tape when we went places in his vehicle and one of those artist was Rich Mullins. I know what a cassette tape is because I always had to record music for him from his CD's to tape on his stereo. I know some people may think that's strange but that's my Dad his old fashion he has a hard time understanding that people listen to their music on their phones now. I still buy some music on CD of my favorite artist and I always put that music on the background in my player when I do things in my room. I did not know much about this artist story maybe little passing here and there until this movie. I can understand the feeling of Pure flix films. I seen a couple of them I think they are okay but not something I would watch again expect for the movie Samson from 2018. I don't know if you have seen the movie or not . I think you might be interested in checking out one film they did called Beckerman movie from 2020. The guys that did the movie were fans of the John Wick movies. It's a Christian action movie thriller in the vain of John Wick or Taken. I think it's worth your time if you can find it. Unfortunately it's only available on DVD not Blu ray. It's not your typical Pure flix film watch it and see what you think of the movie. Keep up the great work we need more people like you doing videos like this showing movies like Goodwill Hunting or Man of Steel from a Christian perspective Your the reason I went back and brought a cheap copy of Man of Steel from 2013 one of things I did not like about the movie is that they made Superman too dark for my taste but I am willing to give the movie another chance.
Thanks for watching and sharing, I’ll look up that Beckerman movie!
I felt the same with Iron claw, very much like u mentioned at the start, I also struggle to visit cinemas due to other time constraints. 1980's inferno and the Disney Strange world movie both ones I have watched recently but both I can't see myself needing to go back to. (I appreciate these are two VERY different movies 😄)
There can be various factors that would make a movie “one and done”! Thanks for watching!
I watched the movie 6 times already! The story, the actors, the cinematography.. I loved all of it! Interesting to hear differently about its rewatchability
That’s interesting to hear a different perspective like that! Thanks for sharing!
I was literally just talking to my buddy Tex about movies we think are great but never want to watch again lol..
That’s funny! It’s an interesting genre of movie to think about. It’s tough cause the movies are great but you never want to go through that again 😂
I've been wanting to see this one for a long time, but held off buying it because I was familiar with the story and knew it was pretty depressing. I now see it is on Max, so planning on just streaming it first before deciding to buy. One somewhat recent watch for me was Old Boy and I think that falls into this for me where I thought it was a really good movie, but that ending...
Yeah man! I have that on regular Blu-ray and saw they did a beautiful special edition. But that devastating ending to Old Boy makes it one I won’t revisit often 😅
You like anime or regular movies
I like both
What is your favorite anime or regular movie
@@brandongircsis anime is a form of movies, like a tool for storytelling so I don’t really think there’s a comparison in that way

There was an assassinatation happened in London during 1940...n that became one of the famous news around the Europe... First time English were really afraid as they realised they were not safe even in London.... But i m sure u didn't know about this news as English completely wipe out this news from their history...... Sardar udham...... 2021

I haven’t forgotten. The best way to track what I’m watching is to follow me on Letterboxd. The link is in all of my video descriptions
Nice grabs! We are now in my birthday month, can't wait to see what I get myself for presents, ha!
I got some great gifts today from family I’ll be showing off in my next haul!
@@AustinStPierre Can't wait to see what you got!
Yes, I have tried something similar . I appreciate your honesty about saying you’re buying stuff just to buy a lot of UA-camrs have that habit of just buying stuff to buy it and then showing it off weekly haul and never getting around to watching it or giving any kind of opinion on it. I stepping away from buying new movies or newish movies that came out last year in this year and sticking with more movies from the 1930s all the way to the 80s stuff that I don’t have stuff that I wanted to see . And that’s what I’m focusing on.
That’s cool to shift focus entirely on a different genre and time period!
I actually had been throwing around this same idea. I think it is a great idea to just reset, save some money and dig into those unwatched movies already on the shelf.
It definitely felt nice catching up on stuff!
@@AustinStPierre I need to follow your lead and give it a try. This month already won’t work, ha ha!
@@WilkysMoviesandMusic haha yeah there’s some great stuff on the horizon. I can’t wait for Dune Part Two in a couple of weeks!
Ik I mentioned it to you in your film recommendations videos, but you totally look into watching Tokuatsu cuz it's also Japanese and it's 100% Japanese (though modern Japanese not 16th century Japanese lol).
What would be some of your recommendations to check out of them? I forget if you mentioned any before 😅
Hope u remember about .... Sardar udham... 2021 movie....
Punish the bad and reward the good. Don't control or lie. Don't kill or steal. Learn from your mistakes and do better. Don't give up, and believe in yourself. I think at the end of the show we're they stand on the small bridge is if they could go under it that may help from the sun or get covered under a bushy tree for shade may help or under something small to take cover the best you can if you don't wanna die from the sun
La Haine, City or Gods, chocolate, Ong bak, District 9, District 13, Taxi, The Raid, 13 assassins, Battle Royale….so many classic films. When u don’t have Hollywood budgets scripts and story boards have to be at a high level just to get any funding. Even films like Town called panic made me laugh so hard and I just feel the pro from not getting Hollywood budgets is the film makers don’t have the pressure and meddling them budgets bring. It allows real innovation, risk taking and some batshit crazy ideas 😂
Loved Outfit and it was from a recommendation I actually got from you quite some time ago. Upgrade is awesome
Love watching both of these videos! I've been wanting to watch The Raid movies, seriously need to. The thing I always love recommending to people, which not a specific movie but rather a genre of film that I think is under the radar. If your into anime, I recommend checking out something called "Tokuatsu". While live action, compared to anime it's a lot more practical with little to no CGI whatsoever (something ik were all tired of these days). This genre includes things like Godzilla, Ultraman and even Power Rangers (which, plot twist - was adapted from a Japanese series called Super Sentai). And while that last one may make you think it's just for children, you'd actually be surprised it can get a lot more mature then you'd think. Anyways... keep up the good work 😃
Yes! I can’t recommend The Raid movies enough! I haven’t heard of Tokusatsu before. I’ll definitely look into it, thanks!
@@AustinStPierre If you want more info on where to look just lmk
Love Batman: Under the Red Hood (I actually own the DC Animated Movie: 10 Years Anniversary Collection Blu-Ray set). I also remember seeing Doctor Sleep when it was in theaters back in 2019. Dredd is SUPER UNDERRATED though, I wish we could've gotten a trilogy out of it.
Agreed, a Dredd series would have been great!!
The Outfit is one I've been getting recommended more & more. Definitely need to pickup a copy. Upgrade was interesting. I just picked up 12 Assassibs last month. Need to give it a watch. Thanks for the recs!
Glad I could suggest some new ones for you!
Chef is great! Didn't really expect much going in. I need to give Doctor Sleep a rewatch. Wasn't a big fan. I really enjoyed Malignant. Very creepy. Didn't expect the twist to play out like that. Thanks for the recs!
Big fan of the shining I loved doctor sleep tbh it surprised me 👍🏻
I agree! I actually prefer Doctor Sleep to The Shining
